Not for me!!

Well, I don't think that 3 kids are for me. Espically when I have not been taking care of them very long. It is hard when you have to change 3 kids diapers and feed them all too. I think it would be different if they were mine, but they aren't.

Gerry and I got to go to the temple and do some baptism last night. It was fun and exciting to be able to do this with him for the first time. It was very different from when I was a youth, but the purpose was still the same.

I took this picture yesterday of Jailynn and I. I can't believe she will be 1 in just a few short weeks!! I will have to take some more before then.

3 KIDS!!!

I survived my first day of having 3 kids today. Omar is 2, Ava is about 5 months and then Jailynn who is 11 months. Yes, this means they are all still in diapers. All I have to say is WOW!!! It wasn't that bad though. Ava is teething so she is fussy at times and Jailynn gets a little jealous when I hold her. Omar is all boy. Throwing toys from one end of the house to the other and then not wanting to pick them up. Go figure. We will see how the rest of the week goes. The first day is always the hardest right? I am just glad that I can help this family as well as them helping us. I will have to take a picture of all three tomorrow. They are a cute bunch.

FUN!!

So today I had some ladies from the ward over for lunch. We have a recipe exchange once a month. The theme was pasta of course....my favorite!! It was fun to get together with the ladies that came. Since Gerry and I serve in primary I do not see some of them very often. In our ward there are quite a few stay at home moms and it still amazes me at how few get together. I know that people have things to do, but I know that everyone eats lunch right. Anyhow....to the ones that did come I am thankful for. Everyone gets nervous when something is at their own house that nobody will show up. At least I get a little nervous about that!! The other part that is fun about getting together with the women in the ward is that the kids can play together and get to know each other as well and not just in a church environment. I have to admit that this is the first recipe exchange that I have been to, but I know that it won't be the last. I am also going to try to go to more of the events that we have in our ward. It is refreshing to get a break from the same daily routine!!!! I know that some of you will agree with that! A big thanks again to those that came and I hope that more will show interest in upcoming events that are planned for the sisters in our ward!!!!

We had another dr. apt. yesterday and everything is looking good with the baby. We are already right at 14 weeks. We get to find out what it is and make sure that all the measurements are good in Sept. I am so excited. After that we will have to pick some names! Not to sure on those yet. We will have to find one be both like. The first one was easy....now for the second.

August Already???

So, Jailynn loves to eat. Here she is with a face to prove it.

Her new favorite thing is to climb and see where she can go. The only problem is that she can't quite get down on her own yet. She is getting there though.

For someone so small, she sure does seem big. To be so close to a year old and not 20lbs yet seems crazy to me. Everyone asks me if she is a year because she is walking. When I say no they seemed shocked like she is the only child that has walked before a year old. She is a very independent little girl though. When she is walking in a public place she wants nothing to do with us. She won't even hold our hand. She tells us to stop already. Even though she can't fully say the word, we know what she is saying and when we say no you stop, she gets quiet. It is funny!!

Well, I am about 12 weeks pregnant now and still feeling tired. Hopefully that will pass. Other than that everything seems to fine. I am sure that we will find out the gender within the next 2 months. Gerry is hoping for a boy this time, but still thinks it will be a girl. We will see though.

We are still waiting to go to the temple, but I know that it will happen shortly. Hopefully we will be able to go in September. At least that is what we are planning for at the moment.
